Our business history
Creative Refinishing was officially started October 1981 in Lakeland, Florida where it has been ever since. The owner, Wayne Small began in the refinishing business when he entered a partnership in the Craftsman, also in Lakeland in September of 1978. This adds up to almost 30 years of experience.

About our staff
In March 2003, Creative Refinishing and Wood Lovers Refinishing, another long standing shop known for quality, merged into one business at a larger neutral and central location. Still named Creative Refinishing, the quantity of work done has largely increased and quality has not suffered.
